Derren Lee Poole (b.1973) is a photographer and part-time videographer born and raised in the heart of the industrial North West of England. His photographic work is primarily documentary and event based.

As a photographer, Derren is fully comfortable in working with digital and traditional film processes (35mm and medium format), and has built up a reputation of working diligently and delivering results quickly. He is the co-founder of Obscura Darkroom, a community led darkroom facility run in conjunction with Blackburn Is Open and The Bureau Centre for the Arts, as well as principal photographer for King Georges Hall in Blackburn.
